Spicy Mango Salsa with The Hit

Spicy Mango Salsa with The Hit

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, finely diced
  • ½ small red onion, finely diced
  • 1 medium jalapeño (or serrano), seeded and minced (optional, for extra kick)
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1–2 tbsp The Hit Hot Sauce (adjust to heat preference)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Base: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, and jalapeño.
  2. Add the Flavor: Stir in the cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Bring the Heat: Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of The Hit hot sauce and mix well. Taste and adjust — add more for a bigger punch.
  4. Chill & Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to let the flavors meld. Serve chilled with tortilla chips, over tacos, or alongside grilled chicken, pork, or fish.

🔥 Sauce Boss’s Tip:

  • For a smoky variation, add ½ cup diced grilled pineapple.
  • If you want it chunkier, cut mango into larger cubes. For a smoother salsa, pulse ingredients a few times in a food processor.
