Spicy Mango Salsa with The Hit
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 medium red bell pepper, finely diced
- ½ small red onion, finely diced
- 1 medium jalapeño (or serrano), seeded and minced (optional, for extra kick)
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1–2 tbsp The Hit Hot Sauce (adjust to heat preference)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Prep the Base: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, and jalapeño.
- Add the Flavor: Stir in the cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring the Heat: Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of The Hit hot sauce and mix well. Taste and adjust — add more for a bigger punch.
- Chill & Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to let the flavors meld. Serve chilled with tortilla chips, over tacos, or alongside grilled chicken, pork, or fish.
🔥 Sauce Boss’s Tip:
- For a smoky variation, add ½ cup diced grilled pineapple.
- If you want it chunkier, cut mango into larger cubes. For a smoother salsa, pulse ingredients a few times in a food processor.
